The state of Hampshire's weather is important to anyone using roads within the County. Generally when the weather is bad, the number of incidents occuring on the road network increases. This is due to several reasons, including:

• Traffic flowing more heavily
• Traffic flowing more slowly
• Reduced traction
• Reduced visibility
