The Highways Agency

Being responsible for Motorways and Trunk Roads throughout England, the Highways Agency is in a unique position to work with Local Authorities to help monitor traffic and deliver traffic and travel information.

The National Traffic Control Centre (NTCC) is operated on behalf of the Highways Agency by Traffic Information Services Ltd (TIS).

The three local authorities under the ROMANSE banner have entered into a Detailed Local Operating Agreement (DLOA). The DLOA forms the framework for the exchange of information between TIS and ROMANSE.
